Day 2 - feeling sore

Managed to complete day 2 of week 1 (100 press up challenge) on Weds 10th Dec, so gave myself one rest day. I was feeling quite sore, but not surprising really as I have not really done any upper body exercise for quite some time. Struggled with the final set and had to rest a few times to get up to 12 reps. Will be doing day 3 of week 1 this evening.

100 press up challenge - day 1 / week 1

I started the 100 press up (push up) challenge yesterday. It’s a six week exercise / training programme designed to help build upper body strength and get you fit. The idea is simple at the end of the six weeks you should be able to do 100 consecutive press ups!

Why am I doing this?

I needed a physical challenge and one that could fit round my busy work schedule, so it needed to be simple and give me some flexibility so I actually have a good chance of completing it. Also I thought it was about time I lost a little weight ;-).

I’ll post up the programme soon. Feeling a little tender today.
